Section B: prepare a Business style report which analyses your two options based on the AI generated output (55marks). Note this section is not to be generated using AI resources. Your management team is required to choose one of the strategic options as produced by your AI output.

The following should be addressed in your report.

1. Provide a rationale as to why your management team have chosen the specific strategic option
2. Identify your closest competitors in the game
3. What are the elements of the strategy that are key to your company’s success
4. Explain to the board of directors how the strategy you have chosen as a management group can achieve a competitive advantage for your company.

Each member of the group should address and compile one response. This must be in your own words.

Group Report Submission: You will submit a group report in Week 6 Sunday, 28thJune 2026, 11:59 pm (AEDT) in Moodle. Each report should not exceed 2000 words (+/-10%).Please submit your Report(.doc) one file per group.

You are required to combine the following and upload

1. Part A The output from the AI site
2. Part B response
3. AI declaration form provided in Moodle–to include all group members

This section should include:

• Formatting standards e.g. font style and size, line spacing.
• File format specifications–Word
• File naming conventions–e.g. Melbourne Group 1

• Professional business report format–e.g., title page, table of contents, executive summary, page numbers etc.
• Group report submission instructions. Group formation instructions etc.

The report must contain the following(in this order):

• Report coversheet(which details all contributing members' names and student IDs)
• Introduction
• Body
• Conclusion
• Appendix to include the AI declaration document

Academic Integrity:

• Students must adhere to UBSS’ academic integrity policies in completing all assessments. The work submitted must be original.

Acceptable use of AI:

The use of generative AI tools (e.g. Chat GPT, Grammarly, Quillbot etc.)is permitted in this unit for the following activities:

• Brain storming and refining your ideas.
• Paraphrasing.

• Proof reading
• Finding information on your topic.
• Drafting an outline to organize your thoughts.
• Developing basic strategic options for your company
• Checking grammar and style.
• Fine tuning your research questions.

Unacceptable use of AI:

The use of generative AI tools is not permitted in this subject for the following activities:

• Impersonating you in classroom contexts, such as by using the tool to compose discussion board prompts assigned to you or content that you put into a Blackboard Collaborate chat.
• Completing group work that your group has assigned to you, unless it is mutually agreed upon that you may utilize the tool.
• Writing a draft of an assignment or essay.
• Writing entire sentences or paragraphs to complete class assignments or other assessable submissions.

Academic honesty is required in all assessable submissions by students. As AI is an evolving technology, please ensure that you carefully review the AI-related information you include in your unit outline/s every trimester.

Late submission penalty:

Late penalties apply to late assessment submission (5% per day, upto 7 calendar days or 35%) as outlined in the assessment procedure.

Student Support:

1. Seek assistance when needed, utilizing the various student support services available.
2. Students have access to online library resources to support research requirements.
3. Students should familiarise themselves with basic WHS information, including emergency procedures and incident reporting.
4. Students wishing to make a complaint or lodge a formal appeal should follow the procedures in the GCA Grievance and Appeals (Academic) Policy.
